You do a staggering number of things; you're a cartoonist, you participate in all these programs and you're family man! The work you put in is astounding! I aspire to be like that someday.
Thankyou for the kind words. It only occurred to me a few years ago that I could connect with schools and art institutes and that could be a great way to grow my reading audience, especially for my younger-readers books. Since then I've been building up my experience and have been seeing my efforts start to pay off. I am not all the way there yet, but I've found that this combination of cartooning and outreach makes this career much more viable than without. I think it helps that I enjoy teaching and helping kids learn about comics, and from most of the feedback I've received, I am pretty good at it as well! :)
