If you go back far enough, you can eventually figure out who is really to blame.
This little cartoon is featured in a brand new self-published comic that will soon be mailed out to all members of my Monthly ‘Zine Club. If you’d like a copy, consider becoming a member. New comics go out every thirty days. Here’s the cover to the issue
As you perhaps guessed, the theme of the issue is dogs, of which I have two. I love them very much, despite them constantly chewing up things, jumping and barking at visitors, and generally being gross in the way that dogs are. On paper these animals sound like the worst, but in our lives, they are the best.
Upcoming Cartooning Workshops
I have two cartooning workshops currently scheduled for February for folks living in the Somerset County region. These are both free to attend, but registration may be required. Check the library websites for more details.
2/19 at the Montgomery Public Library
2/25 at the Somerville Public Library
Visit my Cartooning Lessons website for more information on my school visit assemblies and workshops. I am currently booking for the Spring, which is a busy time with Read Across America. If you would like to bring a fun and engaging graphic novel presentation to your students, please get in touch.
Here are a few photos from some recent events
I don’t have too many more updates to share at the moment. Apart from the holidays, I have been keeping my head down working hard on my newest middle-grade graphic novel. I may have an exciting update for next time, however, as this month we begin… Cover Design!!
Thanks for reading along!!
Mike
That's a great example of Socratic Discourse as well as a great comic!
I wish someone like you had given me advice about how to draw cartoons when I was 8 years old. Your comics are great!
